Position Title: Development Associate
Description: The
primary purpose of this position is to assist in the efficiency and
cohesiveness of the development team. This person will be relied upon
for many administratively-related tasks, as well as helping as needed
with the implementation of tasks pertaining to Youthfront's fundraising,
marketing, advertising, social media, and communications strategies.
These tasks can and will range from computer-intensive ones to highly
interpersonal ones where he/she will be interacting with various
colleagues and constituents in Youthfront's network.
Expectations on the Job:
Strategic implementation:
Being able to work on a team in order to apply the strategies crafted
by leadership in terms of the marketing and development fields
Business Administration: Utilizing skills in spreadsheet and database management, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
Social Media:
Managing and forecasting trends in social media like Facebook, Twitter,
and assisting in increasing Youthfront's presence in Social Media
Development:
Active Fundraising - annual and recurrent giving programs, major gifts,
donor solicitation and relationship management, grant-writing, and
working with Youthfront's various commercial and business
constituencies.
Special Event Planning: working on the silent auction, family fun-day, and alumni events team
This person will report directly to Harrison Tedder-King; Director of Development.
Specifications:
Full-time employee (minimum 40 hrs/week) - Salary

Needed Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree - preferrably non-profit management, business administration, or a similar field
proficiency in computer systems - office, spreadsheet management, database management etc.
