Strange – I had a moment when I maybe felt closer to God than I ever have before. I was driving along the Sea of Galilee, windows down, enjoying the breeze and I had my iPod turned up loud listening to U2 “How to Dismantle a Nuclear Bomb.” 
Somewhere around the lyrics “freedom has a scent, like the top of a newborn babies head…” I had a transcendent kind of moment.
Schleiermacher may have been very happy for me…
