Several years ago I read Yann Martel's novel Life of Pi and loved it. The movie version directed by Ang Lee is set to open Thanksgiving Eve. Were you there? I'm very curious to hear what you thought of it. I went and was disappointed with what I interpreted as a "life is brutal and there is no God but making up a story that there is a God makes life easier." Please tell me I misunderstood.
